Transitional Living Program
Windsor County Youth Services support youth through the Transitional Living Program (TLP), aged 16 1/2 to 22 for periods of up to 18 months. This is a long term program designed for youth looking to ease the process of going from a shelter to living on their own. During their time in TLP, residents are encouraged to finish their high school education, develop independent living skills and work toward maintaining a job. TLP youth share the house with the Emergency Shelter youth but have less structure and are given the opportunity to earn more independence.
